“Actually found this clip online when I was doing some research on beachside areas, I am looking to buy an investment property somewhere near the beach that was affordable but in an area with plenty to see and do for my target group (tourists), have planned a visit in the next week to have a look around and see whats on offer and inspect some properties because of the clip. Have to admit if I had not seen the article and the clip Frankston would not have been an area I would have considered but may well be worth considering. With some good advertising and effective selling of the area I could be looking at getting in early into an area with potential. Well done guys”

Demographic
Our campaign will be marketed towards the 25+ age bracket, primarily families or individuals with low-mid range income. The suggestion will be “why go to Queensland when you can go to Frankston for a quarter of the price?”

Psychographic
Our audience will value quality time with there nearest and dearest and will relish the opportunity to go fishing in the morning, spend the afternoon laying about on the beach or kayaking down Kananook creek and then going out for a meal together in the evening, and then waking up the next day to a whole new raft of options.

Geographic
Primarily our market is Melbournians and rural Victorians simple because they can do day trips or weekend adventures with little planning required, just pack the family in the car and of you go. For extended holidays our demographic (low-mid range income) come home feeling like they have great holiday in the sun but without financial hardship.

behavioral attributes
We hope our audience would as a result of our campaign return to Frankston religiously year after year and tourism would become a sustainable part of Frankston’s economy.
